Spring fishing is proving successful around Rocky Point on beautiful Lake of the Woods. We’ve heard from several folks that they’re biting near Gull Rock Reef and Twin Islands. Opening weekend even had some groups catching limits. Drifting with spinners or anchoring up and jigging have been the methods of choice. The water is low this year, so care is required in all areas near shore and in the harbor. Our charters are going in the water today, so stay tuned for some reports as our guests begin to take trips with Captain Tim (“Wingnut”), Captain Jon and Captain Chris.
