The bite is finally picking up on our end of Lake of the Woods! Fishing was much better today than it has been the past few days. We’re consistently fishing in 27-30 feet of water on all the major reefs around Rocky Point. Guests are reporting numerous slot fish and the perch bite is also picking up. If you’re fishing in the rocks, the guides recommend jigging; if you’re fishing in the mud, the guides recommend dead sticking. The hot colors this week have been red, gold and green.
