2/27/14 Fishing Report

Here’s your latest fishing report from Captain Tim “Wingnut” Hill on the south shore of Lake of the Woods:

Fishing has picked up in the past few days and activity is on the rise. We’ve moved the houses again to stay on top of the fish. Guests are getting a mixed bag of walleye, sauger and perch. Electronics are effective because the fish are suspended as high as 5 feet off bottom. Reds, pinks, and golds are still the colors of choice. Plain hooks with a minnow are also working well. We’re still fishing around all the familiar reef areas, as well as off the reefs in 30-34′ of water. Best of luck out there!
